Singapore being a young country, the story of our future is yet to be written;  our future is full of possibilities. The piece allows one to construct a unique interpretation encouraging the listener to uncage their imagination and dare to dream.  Our future is only limited by our ambition and 

vision of that we can mould our homeland to become.

 

The piece is meditative, punctuated by intense dissonances between the instruments portraying the unpredictability of what lies ahead. Musically, the piece explores physical manipilation of the sonic envelope featuring a number of extended techniques for both instruments and a prepared piano. 

 

This piece sends a message on how every individual should embrace the strive for creativity and innovation, and to dissolve the fear of being different and unique.
